Swiss pharmaceutical company, Roche Holding, has partnered with NVIDIA to expand its AI infrastructure across the US and Europe. The new infrastructure includes 2,176 high-performance GPUs deployed on premises and exceeds Roche's total AI computing capacity of 3,500 Blackwell GPUs. This move aligns with Roche's push to integrate AI across its full value chain. The company's Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Wafaa Mamilli, emphasized the importance of speed in healthcare innovation. The platform will support Roche's "Lab-in-the-Loop" approach where AI models are integrated with real-world biology and chemistry experiments to accelerate discovery timelines.
