RFK may replace entire panel of CDC vaccine advisors again, ally lets slip

A member of an influential federal vaccine advisory panel, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., made a claim that the panel would be reconstituted following a temporary block by a federal judge. However, he later retracted the claim, stating it was merely a possibility. Most of the current members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), which were hand-selected by Kennedy Jr. for their anti-vaccine views, have little to no qualifications for their positions. The temporary injunction stemmed from a lawsuit brought by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and other medical groups challenging Kennedy's anti-vacational efforts.
