Macklin Celebrini, the Sharks' most valuable player this season, is currently leading the team with 105 points and is fourth in NHL scoring with 125 points. His performance recently included two goals and two assists in a 4-3 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. Despite feeling down recently, Celebrini has been instrumental in helping the team move closer to the playoff picture. His performances have fueled his case for the Hart Memorial Trophy. Despite Will Smith and Alex Wennberg being second and third on the team in scoring, San Jose is not close to reaching the playoffs without Celebrini.
