Minnie Driver on risky new show 'The Faithful,' changes in Hollywood

Actress Minnie Driver is starring in Fox's new miniseries "The Faithful," following the women of the Old Testament. The show, set to premiere on March 22, features Driver as the biblical matriarch Sarah, a character with significant spiritual baggage. Despite facing criticism online for not being 97 when Sarah gave birth, Driver believes in the "relatability" of the role and complexity of the character. The shooting of the show revealed how "profoundly human and incredibly strong" Sarah was, Driver said. Driver also commented on Hollywood's changing scene, noting that there are now systems in place to protect young women and equality across the board.
