Jennifer Holliday, the original Effie White, will be part of the "Dreamgirls: ODX Immersive Movie Experience" in Detroit. The event will be held at Orsa Music Hall and will be hosted by Raven-Symoné. The 2006 movie about a Motown-inspired '60s girl group will be shown on a big screen at the theater. Holliday will perform her signature "Dreamgirl" song, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," which she believes still resonates with fans. The Detroit event is also the launch of ODX, or One Drop Experience, which aims to present beloved films with added interactive elements.
