Conan O'Brien, the host of the 2026 Oscars, accepted a fictitious Best Achievement Oscar in a grand ceremony at the event, in which he was presented with a fictional winner against Academy favorites such as Antonio Banderas, Renee Zellweger, Denzel Washington and Glenn Close. O’Brien was serenaded by Josh Groban, who sang "Even the Haters can't hate Number One" as he accepted the award. This is the second year O egan has hosted the Academy Awards, following his debut as host last year.
