Jada P.M. Bell, a 20-year-old Northwoods woman, has been charged with first-degree murder and several counts of unlawful use of a weapon. The shooting occurred on April 9 at the Steak ‘n Shake drive-thru window in Spanish Lake. The employee who threw the drink at Bell was shot and killed, along with a co-worker who was shot in the hand. The owner of the Steaks has announced he is closing the franchise under his name and returning it to corporate.
