Consulting firm’s role in $1B health program removed from website

The state of Oklahoma has removed any reference to Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from its website regarding its role in the $1B rural health initiative, which was once described as "critical" but has since disappeared. The reference to BCG was removed from the website after an Open Records Request was filed by FOX 25. The Oklahoma Department of Health explained this change as part of their commitment to transparency and stated they have paid BCG $1,125,000 so far for "administrative and technical support". The current contract with BCG through 2026 pays them up to $10 million dollars. However, much of the contract was redacted when the state handed it over to the media.
