San Diego County CFO Joan Bracci has been appointed to serve as the county's assistant chief administrative officer. This comes as Assistant CAO Caroline Smith is leaving for a position in the private sector. Bracci, who joined the county in 2008, has previously served as deputy, chief operations officer, and led the Office of Financial Planning and managed the county’s debt portfolio.
