Amanda Rivera of Blairsville, Pennsylvania, has been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of her children after her son was found on the roof of her home after attempting to hang on the power lines. A neighbor reported seeing the child climb out of a window and onto the roof during high winds, which put him at risk of falling off the 20-foot-high roof. By the time police arrived at Rivera's residence, the child was back inside the residence. Rivera, who claimed the family was moving out and was spending time at the new house, is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 15.
