A Trumbull resident has won $25,000 after purchasing a winning lottery ticket at a local business. The Connecticut Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners to not include their full names in order to protect them from potential scams. As of Oct. 2025, the lottery will no longer publish their names without their written consent.
