‘Fearless’ teen sensation Sooryavanshi aces Bumrah test in IPL blitz

15-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been hailed as "amazing" and "fearless" after his impressive performance in the IPL against Mumbai Indians, where he hit 39 off 14 balls and put on 80 runs with opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal. The Rajasthan Royals team won by 27 runs in a rain-shortened 11-over-a-side contest. The performance was seen as an audacious display of teenage talent against Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Mumbai skipper Hardik Pandya described SooryAVanshi as "fascinating" and said it was "furious" to see him take on one of the world's best bowlers. SooryAvanshi had previously made history in last year's IPL with a 35-ball century, the second fastest in the history of the T20 tournament.
