LMPD to release footage of officer-involved shooting of homicide suspect

The Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) will hold a press conference regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on April 6, which resulted in one person being killed. The incident occurred near the Taco Bell where several officers fired shots at the suspect, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The department will release body camera footage and answer questions about the incident. All involved officers have been placed on administrative leave.
