Asian champions Al-Ahli face prospect of JDT quarterfinal clash

The defending champions of Al-Ahli are set to play against Malaysia's Johor Darul Ta'zim in the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League ‘Elite in Jeddah, if they defeat Qatar's Al-Duhail in a rearranged last 16 match. The Saudi city will host the tournament despite ongoing conflict in the Middle East forcing postponement of four Round-16 matches for west Asia clubs. The quarterfinals will be played from April 16 to 18, with the semifinals on April 20 and 21.
