In a message on Truth Social, Trump referred to Springsteen as a "bad, and boring singer" who "looks like a dried up prune" who has suffered from a bad plastic surgeon. The union presidents decried the comments, stating that they cannot remain silent as one of their most celebrated members is singled out and personally attacked by the President of the United States. Springsteen is a member of Local 47 (Los Angeles, CA) and Local 399 (Asbury Park, NJ).
