New EasyJet flights for Newquay to London Gatwick to start

New flights between Cornwall Airport Newquay and London Gatwick are set to start later this summer, with the first flight set to take off on 23 June. The route, currently provided by Skybus, is under a Passenger Service Obligation (PSO) contract funded by the government and the council, which has been reduced to require a taxpayer subsidy of between £14m and £16m over the next four years. The new service offers an affordable and convenient way to access the region during busy periods.
