Mackenzie Crook's comedy, Small Prophets, is planning an eight-episode finale for the show. The writer-director-actor, Crook wants to write a second series and one with more episodes. The BBC has yet to greenlight Season 2, but he is hopeful and expecting to hear within days. The show, which tells the story of Michael (Pearce Quigley) who is struggling to cope with his partner's sudden disappearance, is produced by Crook’s Treasure Trove label and Blue House for the BBC.
