Boxing legend George Foreman, who died in 2025 at the age of 76, is buried in Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa, despite only visiting the area once during his life. His family returned to the burial site for a news conference with Sioux City Mayor Bob Scott to reveal his burial place. Foreman had previously visited the Iowa city in 1988 and often recalled the peace he felt there. He became the heavyweight champion of the world in 1973 by defeating Joe Frazier and later becoming the oldest man to win the heavyweight championship at 45.
