Valley Children’s new pediatric residents through national match

Valley Children’s Hospital in California has welcomed 14 new physicians into its pediatric residency program, which is affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine. The incoming class will begin training in July after matching through the National Resident Matching Program. Three of the 14 incoming residents are from the Central Valley, with 12 from California. In addition, a new class of pharmacy residents will join the program focusing on specialized pediatric pharmaceutical training. Five of the incoming residents completed their medical training at California Health Sciences University, which has a 100% match rate for the third consecutive year.
