Former civil servant Darryn Frost, who used a narwhal tusk to fight off a knifeman who killed Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones at a prisoner rehabilitation conference in London, has been honoured with a sculpture created by sculptor Nick Elphick to honour his bravery. The sculpture depicts Frost with a pained expression, a weight on his shoulder, and holding a separate and broken narwhaled tusk. The sculptor said the sculpture represented "more than just my story, it's an international story". Frost has suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder since the attack and said his memory and health have been severely affected.
