Portlanders react to Trump threats to Iran, ceasefire deal

A temporary ceasefire was reached between the United States and Iran, less than two hours before President Trump's deadline on the Strait of Hormuz was set to expire. This has been a significant impact on the Iranian community in Portland. Samira Sahebi, on the board of Free Iran PDX, expressed relief that the two-week ceasefire was agreed and that Trump is delaying his threats to Iran. Anti-war activists are remaining vigilant until the fighting stops completely.
