A cold front is expected to bring a line of storms across Southeast Texas on Wednesday afternoon and evening, potentially impacting the afternoon commute, the evening commute, and the upcoming rodeo. The biggest concern is damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rain. The storms could drop 1-3 inches of rain per hour, causing brief street flooding. Despite this, the front has passed through and there are no further rain chances on Thursday or Friday.
