US basketball coach Eric Musselman is beginning a third consecutive roster rebuild following a disappointing season for the Trojans. The arrival of 7-foot identical twins Adonis and Darius Ratliff is expected to provide crucial building blocks for the team's future. In each of his first two seasons, Mussellman had one returning scholarship player. However, he may have to re-recruit his own players, or those he wants to keep. Guards Rodney Rice and Alijah Arenas, as well as forward Jacob Cofie, are expected to return next season. Musselmann also mentioned the need for a transfer portal that opens April 7, prioritizing competitiveness, toughness and durability.
