Allen, who was charged with attempting to assassinate Trump, sent messages to his relatives prior to the attack expressing his intention to take violent action against the administration. In his anti-Trump manifesto, Allen called himself the "Friendly Federal Assassin" and planned to target administration officials from the highest-ranking to lowest. He also stated that he was willing to kill everyone in the room if it was possible to reach his targets. The incident resulted in the death of both President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
