West Plains girls soccer advances to first regional final in school history

The West Plains Lady Wolves soccer team has advanced to the regional finals for the first time in school history. The team defeated Stephenville in the regional semifinals, with Freshman Charleigh Jackson scoring the game-winning goal. The Lady Wolves are the last team from the Texas Panhandle still competing for a championship. They will face Life Waxahachie at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene at 4 p.m. The winner will advance to the state semifinals.
