A family of seven was rescued after becoming trapped by high tide on the coast of southeastern Australia. Local commander, Peter Collins, led the rescue operation, which involved more than 130 feet of the cliff being lowered. The group had been hiking along the water's edge when they became trapped. They had climbed up a cliff face to escape high tide and a large swell. The rescue took place on Sunday, April 19. The first person to be rescued was a little girl who was almost hypothermic.
