The New York Jets are exploring the potential for 2026 draft quarterback prospects, with a recent private workout with Alabama's Ty Simpson. The Jets have two first-round picks (No. 2 and No. 16), and Simpson is considered the No. 2 quarterback prospect in the league. The team's top decision-makers, Darren Mougey and Aaron Glenn, have been meeting with Simpson and resident QB gurus (offensive coordinator Frank Reich and quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave. Despite this, there is some level of interest, and it remains uncertain how high the team will draft Simpson. They haven't been visible on the quarterback pro day circuit since 2021.
