BMW opens 2027 iX3 preorders starting at $61,500 with up to 434 miles of range

BMW has opened preorders for the 2027 iX3, its first Neue Klasse vehicle in the US, starting at $61,500. The electric SUV delivers more range than expected, reaching up to 434 miles on a single charge. The new vehicle is based on its sixth-generation (Gen6) eDrive, an 800-volt architecture, and advanced new cylindrical battery cells that BMW claims unlock a 30% improvement in driving range and 30% faster charging speeds compared to its current EVs. The vehicle is available in three different trims: Sport, M Sport, and M Sport Professional, priced from $60,500, $64,000, and $65,500 respectively.
