Rescue teams in northern Germany are working to refloat a humpback whale stranded in shallow water in the Baltic Sea. The 10-meter-long mammal is being pulled off the ground after the high tide was not enough for it to swim free under its own power. The whale is still alive and breathing, making sounds and occasionally raising its head. The animal is believed to be a young male, having been spotted several times in the past.
