Bears GM Ryan Poles is facing persistent issues on the offensive and defensive lines in the 2026 NFL Draft. The team's failure to address these issues has been a persistent issue for Poles, who is a former offensive lineman himself. The draft is set to focus on left tackle, defensive end, and defensive tackle in the first and second rounds with the Nos. 25, 57 and 60 overall picks. If the Bears stay at No.25, the best offensive tackles in their range will likely be Alabama’s Kadyn Proctor, Georgia's Monroe Freeling, and Clemson’s Blake Miller. However, the team's options could improve if they trade up. The Bears have also been criticized for unloading future Hall of Fame defensive end Khalil Mack and signing defensive tackles Gervon Dexter and Zacch Pickens.
