Volunteer knitters from across the UK and Norway spent hundreds of hours creating wartime scenes for an exhibition highlighting World War Two. The Longest Yarn 2 exhibition aims to depict everyday life in Britain during the war and aims to inspire children to learn about history through different mediums. Proceeds from the exhibition will benefit veterans' charities including Forces Veterans Afloat.
