A new Rutgers-Eagleton Poll has found that more New Jerseyans view Gov. Mikie Sherrill positively than negatively two months into her tenure, with 45% of Garden State adults approving of her performance, 29% disapprove, and 26% are unsure. The poll also found that 1 in 4 residents don't have an opinion of the Democrat yet. Sherrill, who easily won the election in the previous year, has nearly identical favorability marks with 44% of New Jersey voters. The numbers are lower than a previous survey by Fairleigh Dickinson University. The survey also asked Jerseyans to grade Sherrill's performance on various policy areas, affordability and taxes.
