Showers are expected in Jacksonville, Florida, but not enough to alleviate the severe drought and fire danger. Despite this, the extreme drought remains in Northeast Florida and Jacksonville is still so dry that even a little wind can cause a brush fire. The recent brush fire outbreaks have been reported, which can spread quickly and cause health issues. Despite these light showers, Exact Track 4D has stated that this isn't the rain that will fix the drought. The temperature is expected to rise rapidly, with temperatures expected to reach nearly 90 degrees on Friday. The weekend is also expected to be mild, with highs in the mid-70s and only a 10 percent chance of a quick shower on Saturday or Sunday.
