Hawaii basketball fans thank team for ‘special’ season

The University of Hawaii Men's Basketball team had a remarkable season, winning the program's second Big West Championship and securing a spot in the NCAA March Madness Tournament for the first time in 10 years. Despite losing two key players to season-ending injuries, the team managed to maintain a 24-win season, nearly 10 more than the previous year. Despite a first-round exit from the tournament, fans have expressed pride in the team's performance. The appearance in the tournament brought together Hawaii fans across the country, with former KGMB Sports Anchor Neil Everett hosting the pregame pep rally.
