Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato shared early findings of the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, which included 150 small businesses and vendors selected by the NFL to be a part of the event. The event also highlighted the city's efforts to clean up downtown, which saw 40,800 volunteer hours and removed 7.3 million pounds of debris, including 53,384 tires. The city completed several multimillion dollar projects, including Market Square and Arts Landing, which are expected to benefit the community for generations. The draft also highlighted a new permanent home to the Three Rivers Arts Festival, with attendees enjoying free public transportation options such as park-and-rides and biking. Public Safety responded to 229 total calls for service over the three-day event, including 45 hospital sports, and two arrests in one place. Official numbers are still being calculated to determine who made money and who lost it.
