A widespread freeze is expected for Sunday night in Metro Detroit, with temperatures expected to drop into the mid-30s overnight into Sunday morning. This could potentially kill crops, other sensitive vegetation, and potentially damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. A Freeze Warning is in effect for most of the region from 11:00 PM Sunday through 11:01 AM. Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to remain largely dry throughout the week, with a warm-up expected for the rest of the week. However, there is a chance of rain showers for the weekend, with an isolated thunderstorm also possible.
