Amazon weighs a deal to boost its satellite internet ambitions. Why it's worthy pursuit

However, Iranian state media reported that Iran is working with Oman on a protocol for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which helped stocks recover from their lows and the S & P 500 briefly traded higher. Amazon is reportedly in talks to acquire satellite company Globalstar, which would advance Amazon's satellite internet-from-space service called Leo. The move could boost Amazon's rural internet access and make its Prime membership more attractive. Other stocks bucking the down market include Corning, Linde, and Costco. Microsoft's CFO Amy Mood was featured in a big profile about the company's decision to fall behind in the AI race, which has led the company to lose ground in AI-related spending.
