How China is getting everyone on OpenClaw, from gear heads to grandmas

China is leading a push for widespread adoption of artificial intelligence, with tech giants such as Baidu and Tencent holding public events to encourage everyday users to adopt OpenClaw. The AI agent, developed by Austrian developer Peter Steinberger, can run anything on a computer without the user, including search the web, buy plane tickets, and direct other bots. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang suggested that OpenCLaw is "definitely the next ChatGPT." The Chinese government is encouraging the adoption of OpenClAW, a tool that could be used to enhance the economy by covering 90% of industries and society by 2030. However, as more people become hooked, authorities have increased warnings of security and data risks and have instructed government agencies and companies in sensitive sectors such as banking to curb OpenClw's use.
