Judge Orders Voice Of America Employees Returned To Work

A federal judge has ordered over 1,000 employees from Voice of America (VOA) to return to work, reversing efforts by the Trump administration to dismantle the U.S. Agency for Global Media. The judge ruled that Kari Lake had been illegally withholding agency action and that VOA is unable to operate its Iran at current staffing levels, despite a statutory mandate. The deadline for the return of employees is March 23.
