A 2.3 km earthquake was reported across the border from New York to Connecticut, causing some residents to feel it. The epicenter was located in the Sleepy Hollow area and had a 7.4 km depth. Reports of feeling the earthquake reach as far as Redding, but most of them came from Stamford. The public can report the earthquake on the USGS website if they feel it, or not.
