The new series, The Testaments, is set 15 years after the end of The Handmaid’s Tale and centers on a group of teenage girls preparing to become wives to the society’�s most powerful men. The series, which is based on Margaret Atwood's 2019 novel, features an ensemble of familiar Gilead faces and franchise newcomers, including Chase Infiniti as Agnes, one of the main narrators. The main character, Daisy, played by Lucy Halliday, is the only girl who remembers life outside of GileAD and brings a "fire" that Halliday channels. The show explores the power struggles among the girls, with multiple narratives revealing power struggles. The actors are hoping to follow up with the series and its fans.
