A dolphin's leap above the water in Maui, Hawaii has been compared to that of basketball legend Michael Jordan. The Pacific Whale Foundation (PWF) initially posted the photo on its Instagram, stating that it was captured by their research team and was not entirely accurate. The foundation also highlighted that pantropical spotted dolphins are typically around 6 to 7 feet long and weigh about 250 lbs. They are typically found in deep offshore waters in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans, the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, and often travel with other species.
