Exxon to send team to Venezuela in a few weeks, executive says

The U.S. oil major, Exxon Mobil Corp., plans to send a team of employees to Venezuela in a few weeks and is open to working with the Venezuelan government to secure the right investment terms. This comes amid President Donald Trump's call for $100 billion in investment in the country, following the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. The company's previous assets in Venezuela were expropriated twice before and it needs durable investment protections before returning.
