Paramount President Jeff Shell Absent From WBD Merger Call With Wall Street Analysts Amid Legal Probe

Paramount President Jeff Shell, a key member of the management team during the company's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, did not participate in a conference call with Wall Street analysts. This absence comes amid an internal investigation into Shell's dealings with Robert James "RJ" Cipriani, who alleges that Shell leaked information about corporate activities. The company's $111 billion takeover offer was accepted by the WBD board after rejecting a proposal from Netflix. An internal investigation of Shell has been launched by law firm Gibson Dunn, led by U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna.
