Charles Gerlach, the man accused of murdering a man and drowning a dog in Old Louisville, has been indicted. The charges stem from a reported jump from a fourth-floor apartment. Police found the body of the man and a chihuahua dead in the apartment. Gerlac was charged with murder, torture of a dog, and abuse of a corpse. The animal-related charges were brought before the court.
