Iranian-backed militias affiliated with Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) claim that up to 30 of their members were killed or wounded in US airstrikes on their base in Anbar province, Iraq. The strike reportedly targeted a PMF site near Habbaniyeh, which is between Baghdad and Ramadi. The death toll from the air strike has risen to 30 members, including operations commander Saad Dawai. The PMF is mostly made up of Iranian-backed Shi'ite militias and has carried out hundreds of attacks in Iraq since the US and Israel began strikes on Iran on February 28.
