Homewood Boy, 14, Killed In Crash At 183rd And Governors Highway: Police

On Sunday, a 14-year-old boy from Homewood was killed in a traffic accident at the intersection of 183rd and Governors Highway. The car veered off the roadway and struck two other vehicles, including a black Buick Park Avenue and a black Nissan Rogue. The driver of the Chevy Equinox fled the scene and was found with minor injuries. The other vehicles occupants were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
