Andrea Newman Leaving 'Chicago Fire' After 14 Seasons

Andrea Newman, who has been on NBC's firefighter drama for 14 seasons and three seasons, is leaving. She will be succeeded by co-executive producer Victor Teran, who will be named executive producer and showrunner for the upcoming 15th season of the series from Dick Wolf’s Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television. Newman joined Chicago Fire after the pilot and was promoted to executive producer in Season 6. She became co-showrunner alongside series co-creator Derek Haas in 2021 and took the reins as sole showrunner two years later. All three Chicago series have been renewed for the 2026-27 season.
