A Brown County family is pushing for a new investigation into the shooting death of their daughter, Brittany Stykes, nearly 13 years ago. Stykes was fatally shot in August 2013 as she was driving her toddler to her father's house for his birthday. Her daughter, Aubree, survived the shooting but did not. The family is now seeking to bring the case to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's office for a review. They have asked the Brown County Sheriff's Office and the prosecutor's office to assist in the investigation.
