God's Pit Crew in Danville, Virginia, is sending essential aid to the tornado-torn Oklahoma city of Enid, which left significant damage and destruction over 1,200 miles away. The faith-based disaster response ministry is sending a semi-truck with essential items such as cleaning supplies, blankets, diapers, bottled waters and sports drinks. The ministry's response is part of many concurrent relief efforts across the country, including in South Georgia and North Carolina, where it is providing relief to wildfire victims and a new home for a family displaced by Hurricane Helene. The president of the ministry, Randy Johnson, emphasised the need for community support as the ministry continues to respond to calls for help across state lines.
